Mia

Mia pulling a cheeky face.
After Edinburgh on the Friday, I celebrated my birthday in Newcastle with the lads on the Saturday. This is the brilliant Air Conditioning system in my favourite bar Perdu.

Edinburgh Castle at night. This is the view from outside our hotel. We stayed at the Point Hotel, it`s an old Department store and I would recommend it highly.

Claire, me and Sarah my oldest daughter. We went up to Edinburgh to see sarah sing in a show on my birthday. This picture is taken with my new phone, it`s a Nokia N95 and has a 5 megapixel camera.

The foundations were put in before building control gave me a list the length of my arm to sort out.

Mia not impressed that the builder has dug up her outside play area.

I am writing this post in a new blog due to having problems entering and editing my old blog, "A Scotsman in England." Ever since the blog changeover I have had problems and I will cut and paste anything from this blog when I gain access again.

My daughter Mia is almost 11 Months old now and is the funniest cutest little person I know. She loves being chased and playing hide and seek. I have one problem at the moment as the weather in April was the hottest for 140 years and we are getting an extension built out the back which means it`s a no go area for Mia to play at the moment. Luckily we have a beach half a mile away which Mia loves.

It`s a big few Months as I have my stag weekend in Puerto Banus at the end of May and I get married to Claire in June in Las Vegas at the Wynn Hotel. We are having our wedding reception when we get back in July at the Grand Hotel in Tynemouth in July. The Grand has a lot of significance to Claire and I as her Mum and Dad had their reception there and I stayed there for a few Months when I first moved down here to North East England.

I have hit a lot of red tape with the extension on the house and it`s stressing me a bit. I want it ready for my Dad and Sisters to stay in when they come for the wedding reception. We are originally from Central Scotland and we loved visits to the Seaside. It is shown by our new chosen homes. I live by the coast in Tynemouth, Vivien my older Sister lives in Seaford near Brighton and Louise my younger Sister lives near Blackpool.

I want the extension ready especially for Dad, he has been in hospital with Pneumonia and Influenza A and has been through a lot. He is walking with sticks and the downstairs ensuite is being built with him in mind.
